“All The World’s A Stage” Local Community Theatre Program Brings Monthly Play Readings to the North Andover Historical Society’s Worden Theatre

North Andover, Mass — The vibrant community of the Merrimack Valley is set to come alive with the launch of a new monthly theatre event at the state-of-the-art Worden Theatre at NAHS’s community hub, the Stevens Center. Proudly presented by the North Andover Historical Society, this exciting program promises to captivate audiences with a series of thought-provoking and hilarious stories. Penned and directed by lifelong North Andover resident Robert E Kellan MD, eye surgeon, novelist, and playwright; the play readings will be staged in collaboration with the Acting Out Theatre Company of Lawrence, whose mission is to reward local talent with the opportunity to be part of the theatre experience.

“I consider myself very fortunate and privileged to have been able to meet and work with Joanna Kerr, the director of North Andover Historical Society and Linda Schoonmaker, the president of Acting Out Theater Group, both of whom are gifted professionals. They have made it possible for me to share my plays with the community in which I grew up and was educated; something for which I will always be indebted,” Dr. Robert Kellan said.

The state-of-the-art solar-powered Worden Theater at North Andover Historical Society provides the perfect backdrop for these engaging and thought-provoking performances.

Join us as we celebrate creativity, community, and the arts on Saturday April 20 at 2pm for the first play reading, Suspended Lives. Whether you are a seasoned theatergoer or simply looking for a unique and enriching experience, this monthly event promises to inspire and entertain. Reservations are required due to limited seating, please visit www.northandoverhistoricalsociety.org for more details and to reserve your seat.
