Making History on the Common Campaign
If recent history has taught us anything, it’s that connection and community are vital to all of us. Over the past several years, the North Andover Historical Society has been reflecting a great deal on how we can best serve our beloved community, facilitate connections among our residents and share what makes North Andover special to those who visit.
Since 1913 we have preserved and shared the many stories and objects that have shaped our town and beyond. With an eye to the future, we are now embarking on a journey to expand our mission and transform how we serve and connect with the community while retaining all that has made us a valued part of North Andover for the past century.
We are building a center for history, culture and community in the former Textile Museum, now named the Stevens Center, that will dramatically increase our reach and impact. Cutting edge exhibits. Theater, live music and films. Lectures and meetings for groups of five to 75. Research services. Art and craft exhibits. Collector’s fairs. Receptions and social events. Retail shopping and even a café! The Stevens Center will offer all of this and much more.
